Our Warranty
We Stand Behind Our Work - Here's Exactly What That Means
At High Line Auto Service we believe in doing the job right the first time — and backing it up in writing. We offer one of the strongest warranties in the area because we're confident in the quality of our work, the parts we use, and the technicians who perform every repair. Here's everything you need to know about our warranty coverage so there are never any surprises.
Standard Repair Warranty — 36 Months / 36,000 Miles
Most repairs performed at High Line Auto Service are backed by our 36-month/36,000-mile warranty, whichever comes first. This means that if a covered repair fails within 36 months or 36,000 miles of the service date, we will make it right at no charge to you.
This warranty reflects our commitment to quality parts, quality workmanship, and standing behind what we do.
Extended & Warranty Repair Work — 12 Months / 12,000 Miles
Repairs performed under an extended warranty or third-party warranty authorization are covered for 12 months or 12,000 miles, whichever comes first. Coverage terms for these repairs are subject to the guidelines of the applicable warranty provider.
Warranty Exclusions
Our warranty covers defects in parts and workmanship. The following are excluded from warranty coverage:
- Wear and tear items — components that wear through normal use including but not limited to brake pads, brake shoes, rotors, tires, wiper blades, belts, filters, spark plugs, clutch components, and similar maintenance items are not covered under warranty
- Maintenance services — oil changes, fluid exchanges, and routine maintenance services are not covered under the repair warranty
- Used parts — while High Line Auto Service does not commonly install used parts, there are circumstances where a used part is the appropriate or only available solution. In these cases the warranty applicable to that repair will be clearly stated on your repair order at the time of service
- Secondary failures — damage to other components caused by a pre-existing condition or a failure unrelated to the covered repair
- Owner-supplied parts — parts supplied by the vehicle owner are not covered under our warranty
- Improper use or abuse — damage resulting from misuse, neglect, accident, or modifications not performed by High Line Auto Service
- Additional exclusions — additional exclusions may apply and will be noted on your repair order at the time of service
Warranty Coverage Is at the Discretion of High Line Auto Service
All warranty claims are reviewed and determined at the sole discretion of High Line Auto Service. We approach every warranty situation fairly and honestly — our goal is always to take care of our customers — but coverage determinations are made on a case by case basis in accordance with these guidelines.
BG Lifetime Protection Plan
In addition to our shop warranty, vehicles that receive eligible BG Products fluid services at High Line Auto Service may qualify for the BG Lifetime Protection Plan. This is a separate manufacturer-backed protection plan provided by BG Products and covers the serviced system for as long as you own the vehicle, subject to BG's terms and conditions. Ask us at your next service visit whether your vehicle qualifies.
